As pdi's projects include several historic restoration, adaptive reuse, and seismic strengthening projects on designated Los Angeles landmark structures, we fully appreciate the care required in making improvements to historic buildings. In collaboration with the city’s Cultural Affairs division, local community groups and preservation experts, our work has received LA Conservancy and California Preservation Foundation awards.



In real estate development project work,

pdi CONSULTING coordination efforts includes any/all phases of the work required to bring the finished project to fruition; from facilitating concept development, negotiating land acquisition, processing entitlements, assembling design and building teams, pre-construction organization, budget administration, and complete construction oversight and management through final punch list and permit sign-off.

I had the pleasure of working in conjunction with Paul Davidson on a unique project for the historic Briggs Residence in the West Adams District of Los Angeles. He was a joy to work with: respectful, responsive to ideas and inquiry, punctual in communication, and supportive of every step of the process. His artistic eye, and experience and skills in project and facilities management, owner representation, and construction oversight were invaluable to the desired end result.
